Slingbow Ammo, Simple Rock Marbles, can be crafted at the Simple Workbench - the first crafting station you get access to in the game.
Six crude rocks make 20 Slingbow ammo, which means you can get plenty of stacks ready. Once you've crafted the ammo, just store it in your inventory. The weapon will pull ammo straight from your backpack.
