Mortal Kombat 1's next set of DLC characters may have leaked, as a dataminer has potentially unearthed six new fighters coming in the game's next Kombat Pack.

Now that Homelander is officially in Mortal Kombat 1, fans are only waiting for Takahashi Takeda to be added to the roster, who is launching next month. That means developer NetherRealm will be getting ready to announce the next set of characters coming to the title in the game's next Kombat Pack, though it appears as though a reliable Mortal Kombat dataminers may have already beaten the devs to the punch.

Dataminer Interloko posted to Twitter earlier this week claiming that they had discovered six DLC characters currently hiding in the Mortal Kombat 1 files, along with two arenas and five new announcers. Of this new set of characters, three will be returning from the Mortal Kombat series, while three others will be guest characters, which is exactly the same structure as the game's first Kombat Pack.

Mortal Kombat 1's Next Six DLC Fighters May Have Leaked

We'll start off with the guest characters, as Interloko claims that Ghostface from Scream, Conan the Barbarian, and the T-1000 from Terminator are all set to be included, which shouldn't come as a huge shock if you're up-to-date on your Mortal Kombat insider info. Ghostface has been rumored for quite some time, with series creator Ed Boon even teasing him, while it was claimed by Windows Central's Jez Corden last year that Conan the Barbarian would also be coming.

Reptile actor Andrew Morgado also let slip back in 2023 that Robert Patrick was recording lines for T-1000, so we're also just waiting for confirmation on that one too. Interloko then goes on to claim that Cyrax, Sektor, and Noob Saibot will be the original characters announced in the next wave, the latter of which was pretty much confirmed by Ed Boon himself. Other than that, Cyrax and Sektor's inclusion on the main roster is good news for fans that were begging them to be there.

Cyrax and Sektor are both Kameo fighters at the moment, so it shouldn't be too difficult for NetherRealm to flesh them out into proper characters.

We don't know when we'll see the announcement of Kombat Pack 2, but we can safely assume it won't happen before Takeda's release next month. NetherRealm could use Gamescom Opening Night Live to make the announcement, or it could simply tweet out the news via its own channels. Either way, it won't be too long, as the team know people will be desperate to see who's coming next.
