To defend yourself, however, you have no way to deal with the Frenzy with an elemental Resistance, and instead, you should focus on the best possible skillset for your Hunter. Jin Dahaad's armor set will serve more than fine, as it makes you impervious to environment debuffs like cold or heat, help you to hit wounds more with Weakness Exploit, and also helps you stay your ground against tremors; the icing on the cake is Agitator, which boosts your Attack and Affinity when the enemy is enraged.
