Get ready to get prehistoric with the next event from Scopely’s Monopoly Go, because we’re heading into the back half of the week with a dinosaur-themed center screen event, Jurassic Journey! Running from 9AM EST on August 8 and going through 10AM EST on August 10, you’ve got plenty of rewards to grab in Jurassic Journey.

How To Play Jurassic Journey
Now that we've moved on from the feline frenzy, Monopoly Go's getting old school on us this week with Jurassic Journey, a dinosaur-themed event in the game running through Saturday morning EST. And thankfully, since it runs in tandem with the Dino Treasures event, you've got plenty of chances to grab a few extra pickaxes for the other, longer event.
To earn points in Jurassic Journey, you'll want to keep your eye out for tiles that have tan fossil tokens on them, with each token rewarding you with two points when you land on that space.
That is, unless you roll a higher dice roll multiplier to land on those spaces - then, the points you earn will be multiplied by that number as well before being added to your current total. Roll higher if you've got a swath of fossil tiles ahead!
The big prize with this event for most will be the extra pickaxes for the Dino Treasures event, which make up a sizable chunk of the rewards for Jurassic Journey. That said, there's still a purple sticker pack in the mix (if you didn't get any good packs in the golden sticker trade or the previous City Racers event to help with the Monopoly Games albums) at milestone 45, and thousands of extra dice rolls to pick up along the way there. Don't forget all the cash prizes, either!
