TheMythicalSausage- Tutorial by TheMythicalSausage
Whenever you first start your Minecraft journey, you may be tempted to create a simplistic square of crops, with little to no decoration. This is where the Classic Cobble Farm comes in, since you can improve even the most rudimentary of farms with just a few natural resources.
After mining for a small amount of cobblestone, simply surround a circular field with different slabs, full block, and stairs. You can even equip this field with torches or lanterns to ward off threatening monsters.
Furthermore, this pattern is easily repeatable, meaning you can create vast patches of farmland, each with its own designated area.

Another rendition of a fantastic starter farm leans more into a natural aesthetic, surrounding your crops with wooden fences and various flowers and leaves. Similar to the cobblestone farm, simply surround your crop of choice circularly with different natural materials and lanterns to ward off monsters.
Remember to always leave space for water sources, as your soil will dry up without the appropriate amount of hydration.

PostsWhile Minecraft may contain a world entirely made out of blocks, to create aesthetically appealing structures you'll want to avoid building in a geometric grid, so generating asymmetrical plots of land will really make your builds look beautiful. Finally, adding lanterns or a custom tree can further differentiate your plots of farmland.
18 Cherry Blossom Crop Field
Polar Cat- Tutorial by: Polar Cat
This farm combines three different squares of crops, with a living area underneath each field. The fields are lifted above ground with stone, creating ample room to carve out a living space underneath that includes natural light.
If you ever need more interior space beneath the farm, you could always add extra tiered fields, thus increasing your living area and crop yields.
17 Cottage Leather Farm
Nuvola MC- Tutorial by Nuvola MC
If you have been playing Minecraft for some time, then chances are you have seen compact cow farms that efficiently kill the animals to harvest their beef and leather. These 1x1 spaces use water, or simply compact space, to dispatch the cows without you having to lift a finger.
However, these contraptions can be incredibly ugly, so creating a structure around this harvesting station can really improve the overall feel of your base. In this tutorial, you can actually surround your cow farm with a small cottage, equipped with a wooden roof and a brick fireplace, all without interrupting the efficiency of the farm's output.

14 Automatic Aesthetic Farm
Zaypixel- Tutorial by Zaypixel
Similar to the Compact Farm, this simplistic field of crops combines a pretty appearance with machine efficiency, allowing you to instantly collect all of your crops with a simple push of a button. This farm is made up of a plot of plants, with a small well in the center that can be activated to flood the field with water for a short time period.
The water will cause all of your mature plants to be instantly farmed, so you can run through the field and collect your rewards without having to break any of the crops. However, this build may be slightly more difficult than others, since you will need to use redstone to make the well release water for the correct intervals.
13 Simple Farm Design
SimpleMC- Tutorial by SimpleMC
If you are looking for a farm with some vertical appeal, then we suggest getting some shears and building the Simple Farm Design. While the bottom of this farm may seem incredibly simple, as it is made out of simple rows of crops surrounded by paths and fences, the main appeal of this farm is the arches of lanterns, fences, and leaves that create a curved design.
Furthermore, installing some shaders will make this build truly stand out, as the leaves will sway in the wind and the lanterns will give off a subtle light across all of your crops.
12 Cottage Core Greenhouse
sillyblocks- Tutorial by sillyblocks
If you are looking to pollinate your fields with bees, then building a greenhouse is a great way of protecting these fragile creatures, while also creating a singular structure to house all of your crops. In Minecraft, bees can fly over crops such as wheat or carrots to pollinate them, making the crop grow significantly faster than it normally would.
However, you'll want to build a centralized location to house your bees, as you don't want these insects to fly away from your fields and halter your crop production. By simply using wood, leaves, and stained glass, you can create a flawless structure that projects beauty from any angle.
