7 Mature Games That Need To Come To Nintendo Switch Online

Summary
- Many M-rated N64 games would fit perfectly on Nintendo Switch Online, including Conker's Bad Fur Day.
- Additionally, several mature games for other consoles should be added to NSO, including Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.
It's safe to say that no one in a million years would've thought Nintendo would add M-rated games to its family-friendly NSO service. And yet, the company threw precedent out the window when it launched the Mature 17+ collection of games. Move over, Mario, because NSO users can now play titles like Perfect Dark and Turok.

The classics of classics.
PostsThis opens the door for dozens of mature games to come to the service, letting new generations bask in the glory of the many foul-mouthed heroes and the epic, bloody violence that always seems to follow them. The following games, in particular, would be incredible to have on Nintendo Switch Online.
We're not just including N64 games! All consoles on Nintendo Switch Online qualify for this list.
7 Conker's Bad Fur Day
A Hilariously Obscene 3D Platformer
Console
Nintendo 64
Developer(s)
Rare
Created by the same studio as Banjo-Kazooie and Donkey Kong 64, Conker's Bad Fur Day kicks its predecessors' cutesy platforming to the curb in favor of raunchy humor, movie references, and a surprising amount of opera-singing poop.
After a long night of drinking, the titular squirrel wakes up in a field with no memory of how he got there. Equipped with the ability to fly and urinate on enemies, Conker must platform through a series of film parodies, including Saving Private Ryan and The Matrix, to find his way home. Fully voice-acted and packed with dark humor, Conker's Bad Fur Day would be a great addition to NSO's N64 library.
6 Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
The Best Way To Play An Iconic Fighting Game
Console
Super Nintendo
Developer(s)
Midway Games, Avalance Software
Mortal Kombat 3 provides all the gory action you'd expect from the series while adding new features that allow you to annihilate foes in devastating ways. This entry introduced the Mercy and Animality mechanics, which let you revive a defeated opponent only to transform into a vicious animal so you can kill them again. That'll teach them to accept generosity.

We're counting down the best GBA games on Nintendo Switch Online.
PostsThe Ultimate edition expands the roster to include fan favorites like Scorpion, who was bafflingly excluded from the base version. Given that NSO's SNES service has a surprising lack of fighting games, Ultimate MK3 would be a refreshing inclusion.
5 Turok 2: Seeds Of Evil
An Action-Packed First-Person Shooter With Great Multiplayer
Console
Nintendo 64
Developer(s)
Iguana Entertainment
The first Turok is on Nintendo Switch Online, so why not the sequel? You control Joshua Fireseed, who's transported to a realm outside the flow of time to stop an evil alien from raising an army of dinosaurs to destroy the universe. Don't you hate it when that happens?
The campaign takes you through six maps, where you'll use various powerful weapons to complete objectives, wipe out hoards of enemies, and take down bosses. Not to mention, the multiplayer modes would be a blast to play online with friends.
4 Max Payne
A Stellar Port Of A Thrilling PS2 Classic
Console
Game Boy Advance
Developer(s)
Rockstar Leeds
Initially launched for PlayStation 2, Max Payne is a comic book-inspired neo-noir thriller. You play as a renegade detective out for revenge against the drug ring that murdered his family. The Game Boy Advance port does a shockingly good job translating the gameplay into an isometric shooter.
As Max Payne, you can use the Bullet Time mechanic to slow down time and dodge enemy attacks. The story is pretty in-depth for a GBA title, creating an exhilarating experience from start to finish. In short, Max Payne should absolutely come to NSO's GBA service.
3 Resident Evil 2
Survival Horror At Its Finest
Console
Nintendo 64
Developer(s)
Capcom
Often considered one of the best ports ever made, Resident Evil 2 for N64 miraculously fits two discs' worth of content on one tiny cartridge. The plot follows Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy, survivors of the zombie apocalypse who must take shelter in the Raccoon City Police Department and survive the many terrors that await.

We can't wait for these classics to be playable on the go once again.
PostsFamous for its clever puzzles, resource management, and suspenseful atmosphere, Resident Evil 2 is easily the scariest N64 game. Given that many other Capcom titles are on NSO, RE2 probably has a decent chance of making it onto the service.
Resident Evil 2 happens to be one of my favorite games of all time. Given how hard it is to find an original cartridge, I would be ecstatic if it came to Nintendo Switch Online.
2 Wolfenstein 3D
A Legendary First-Person Shooter
Console
Super Nintendo, Game Boy Advance
Developer(s)
id Software
Wolfenstein 3D has long been celebrated as one of the most influential first-person shooters ever. Thanks to its fast-paced gameplay and simulated 3D movement, Wolfenstein was beyond impressive on the Super Nintendo and helped put the genre on the map.
You control a World War 2 soldier named B.J. Blazkowicz, who must escape a Nazi prison. You'll scour the levels for guns and mow down enemies until you reach the end of each stage. Since it received ports for SNES and GBA, it could hypothetically come to either library.
1 Duke Nukem: Zero Hour
A Time-Bending Third-Person Shooter
Console
Nintendo 64
Developer(s)
Eurocom
Here's an underrated gem for you. Duke Nukem: Zero Hour follows the titular hero as he travels through time to stop an alien invasion. You'll be blasting enemies in the Wild West, Victorian London, a post-apocalyptic New York, and more.
Zero Hour swaps the series' traditional first-person gameplay for third-person shooting. Nonetheless, you'll still be exploring maps, finding powerful weapons, and destroying everything and everyone in sight. Luckily, Duke is still his usual self, cracking one-liners and singing pop songs as he blows up aliens.
