Ever since Insomniac Games announced Marvel's Wolverine at the 2021 PlayStation Showcase, fans have been patiently waiting for any kind of update on the PlayStation 5 title. In response to a fan pointing out the lack of news, Insomniac stated that it will "share news about the game when *we* are ready to share it."

"We can't act on everything requested when things take time, resources, and the greenlight to share them," the response concluded.

It's a rather snappy response, though the frustration on both sides is understandable. Fans are keen to learn more about the next big PS5 exclusive, and Insomniac is also likely tired of being unable to share accomplishments without being badgered on social media.

As gamers may recall, Insomniac suffered a massive breach of security in 2023. That led to the premature reveal of future game announcements, along with the personal information of employees leaking out, as well as a massive amount of Wolverine info, including a playable build.
