Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Players Think We're Getting Daredevil DLC

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has just dropped, but fans are already thinking ahead to future stories in Insomniac's Spiderverse. Scanning through clues in the game, players think that we're getting a Daredevil-focused DLC, introducing a new nemesis - The Hand.
This comes after Spider-Man 2 director Bryan Intihar hinted that one of the Daredevil references could be a hint on what content will be added further down the line. It has many fans convinced that Matt Murdock will team up with Peter and Miles in an expansion, or at the very least, will make an appearance while the Spider-duo take down his enemies.
Clues pointing towards a Daredevil DLC have been compiled in the Gaming Leaks and Rumours Subreddit by user Amori17. Here, they bring up the multiple references to The Hand, as well as Intihar's comments on the matter.
While references to The Hand are fairly self-explanatory - they're foes of Daredevil, who also operates in New York City - Intihar's comments were particularly interesting. They came after fans noticed that the Nelson & Murdock law firm building exists in the game, but doesn't have its sign. Asked what this could possibly mean, Intihar simply responded: "That's a good question... stay tuned."
Other heroes are definitely floating around in the Insomniac Spider-Man games. We already know that the Avengers are there - even if they're not much help - and the upcoming Wolverine game will share the same setting.
In the replies, fans discuss how Daredevil could be introduced to the Insomniac Spiderverse. Surprisingly, there's not a lot of desire to see the studio release a full-blown Daredevil game, since this could take away from the company's other projects. Some suggest that it could be a smaller release on the same level as Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, but even this would take some time. With this in mind, plenty of players are fine with Daredevil being DLC only.
Some fans believe that Insomniac will hold off until the next numbered sequel, however, and instead introduce the new hero in Marvel's Spider-Man 3. Admittedly, this game hasn't even been confirmed yet, but given the ongoing success of the series, it seems all but guaranteed that it will happen, even if it's likely to be a long way down the road as yet.
Right now, it's not clear if Daredevil will join the fray before or after Wolverine gets his own game. We'll have to wait and see what news comes from Insomniac now that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is with us.
