Marvel Rivals Competitive Stats Show Cloak And Dagger Are The Most Popular Picks

Summary
- Cloak and Dagger are the most picked characters in Marvel Rivals' competitive mode across most ranks.
- Storm has the highest win rate, but a relatively low pick rate.
- Both Storm and Cloak and Dagger received buffs in the last update.
If it feels like every competitive match you've joined in Marvel Rivals has a Cloak and Dagger main, you're not alone. The duo are by far the most picked characters this season, beating other popular picks such as Doctor Strange and Luna Snow.
Their win rate, however, leaves a little to be desired. Right now, they rank 22nd, suggesting that not everyone who instalocks Cloak and Dagger is using them that effectively. As for the highest win rate, that goes to Storm, who recently received a bunch of buffs, but still has a relatively low pick rate.
Storm Mains Keep Winning, But Cloaks And Dagger Are Everywhere
Marvel Rivals Season 1 competitive stats give us an idea of which characters are performing best
This data comes from Marvel Rivals intel. You can see this for yourself on the Marvel Rivals website, which tracks win rates and pick rates. Even though this seems to be a little more out of date, we can still see that Cloak and Dagger rank highly.
Speaking as a Cloak and Dagger main, it's not too surprising to see them getting picked so much. Not only can they be very effective in a pinch, with Dagger able to deal a lot of dealing if her abilities are used at once, but you also don't really have to aim with them. Cloak's attack locks on to enemies, and Dagger's will hone into others, and can even bounce off walls. Better yet, their ultimate just got a buff.
Speaking of buffs, this also explains Storm's win rate. Her projectiles are now faster, and she can deal more damage with her Bolt Rush ability. Her ult is also better now, as it gives her more health. Given that she's now dominating competitive, it's possible that she'll undergo some more changes in the next season - especially since she's one of the most frequently banned characters.
On the flip side, there are two characters who could definitely do with some help: Jeff and Black Widow. While Jeff might be frustrating to play against, he does have one of the worst win rates. He is, however, a very frequently picked character, so maybe get just has a lot of players who don't know how to use him. Black Widow doesn't have that excuse, as her pick rate is incredibly low.
