Marvel Rivals has done an amazing job with the character designs and brings some fresh, or controversial, takes to the costume designs. No matter how you might feel on some of the skins, there are already some iconic costumes in the game, like Wolverine’s yellow X-Men suit. Here are a few others that would be great for the game.

10 Iron Fist - Green And Gold Suit

An Homage To The Original Iron Fist

The Iron Fist that is currently in Marvel Rivals is Lin Lie, who made his debut in Marvel Comics in 2018. His first alias was known as Sword Master but later took the mantle of Iron Fist from Danny Rand.

Although Iron Fist’s current outfit in the game is very reminiscent of what he wears in the comics, it would be cool to see an homage to Danny Rand’s outfit that Iron Fist is known for. The green and gold suit with collars that resemble something Doctor Strange would wear and, of course, the gold mask that covers the upper half of his head.

9 Hulk - Maestro

A Version Of Hulk Stronger And Smarter Than Bruce Banner

We got to see some popular Hulk outfits in the game, including the Green Scar, who is known for his time as a gladiator on Sakaar, but one of the best Hulk incarnations would have to be the Hulk known as Maestro.

This Hulk is from a future alternate timeline where he takes up the mantle of Maestro and is both stronger and more intelligent than the Hulk we know. His skin is still green, unlike some other Hulk incarnations, but he has gray hair and beard and is balding. This Hulk would be great for the games, especially due to his history with Doctor Doom.

8 Storm - X-Men Uniform

What Everyone Imagines When We Think Of X-Men

There are already some of Storm’s well-known costumes in Marvel Rivals. Her default skin resembles her original outfit and her most recognizable white outfit from the 90’s X-Men run is one of her other skins you can unlock.

However, there is one suit that she wore briefly during the Uncanny X-Men run by Chris Claremont and Jim Lee and that is the yellow and blue X-Men suit that many of us imagine when we think of the X-Men. Having all the X-Men roster in Marvel Rivals wear this suit would be astonishing.

7 Iron Man - Hulkbuster

A Suit To Match The Strength Of The Hulk

There are a plethora of Iron Man suits in the comics that are well known, but perhaps one of the coolest suits has to be the Hulkbuster suit. It made its first appearance in Iron Man #304 and was made to go one on one with the Hulk. We even got a live action debut for it in the MCU.

Even though Hulk and Iron Man are on the same team and get a teamup buff in Marvel Rivals, it would be cool to see this suit in the game. There are many other Hulk incarnations, both hero and villain variants, that we could see this suit take on.

6 Doctor Strange - Defenders

Red And Black Costumes Just Look Good

The Defenders are an iconic team in the comics that made their debut in Marvel Feature #1 in 1971 and even more recently made their live-action debut on Netflix with one of the newer rosters of Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Daredevil.

This first version of the team was led by Doctor Strange and included Hulk and Namor. It was during the Volume 4 run of The Defenders that Doctor Strange used this red and black costume with a huge chest symbol that has become known as one of his best costumes.

5 Captain America - The Captain

A Darker Look For Captain America.

Captain America is known for his classic colors of red, white, and blue. His skin in Marvel Rivals is a very modern spot-on take of his classic costume and is exactly what we think of when we picture Captain America.

There is one costume that stands out from his many variations and that is The Captain costume. Many fans know that The Captain is none other than John Walker, AKA U.S. Agent, but it’s his red, black, and white that would be perfect for Marvel Rivals.

4 Hawkeye - Ronin

Black And Gold Is Steller Color Combination For Cosutmes

There are many characters who take on the same aliases as other superheroes, or villains, in the comics. One of the best examples of this is Ronin, who first appeared in New Avengers #11. Maya Lopez, AKA Echo, was the first to adorn the Ronin name.

Two years later, we would see Clint Barton take up the mantle as Ronin in New Avengers #27. The black and gold suit definitely stands out, and with the style of the game, it would look incredible to see.

3 Loki - Classic

A Classic That Is Beloved By Many Fans

Loki is a classic character who is well known for being the God of Mischief and that has been proven time and time again both in the comics and the MCU. His default skin showcases the best of his costumes, and we even have the outfit he wears in the finale of Loki Season 2.

It would be even cooler if we got a classic take on the character and see the first outfit he wore when he made his debut in Journey Into Mystery #85 back in 1962. His classic green and yellow costume would fit perfectly into the game and would make for some pretty epic fights between him and Thor.

2 Wolverine - Patch

Menacing But Elegant

There are many Wolverine variants that we know and love from the comics, and would be great for the game. We have already seen the classic yellow and blue suit make its way into the game, more specifically from Deadpool & Wolverine, but there are more we would love.

One of those is Wolverine’s alias, known as Patch. The character instantly became a fan favorite with Logan adorning a white suit and an eye patch as his disguise while working in Madripoor. Patch would be a great addition to the game, especially if Madripoor is introduced as a map.

1 Spider-Man - Black Suit

One Of The Most Iconic Suits In Comic Book History.

Spider-Man has had many suits over the years, but there is one that has left fans in awe and is probably one of the best costumes he has ever worn. We are talking about the famous Black Spider-Man suit. Making its debut in Amazing Spider-Man #252 in 1984, this would become one of the most recognizable and popular suits that Peter Parker has ever worn.

This, of course, played a huge role in becoming the symbiote bonding with Eddie Brock to become Venom in Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars #8. It would be amazing to see the black suit in Marvel Rivals and the voiceline interactions this would initiate between Venom and Spider-Man.
