On Friday, in a bid to makeup for the game's unavailability, the developer's revealed a "Welcome Back" compensation package for gamers, including those not in the United States.
In a post on Twitter, Second Dinner wrote, "This disruption of service is more than just an unfortunate blip in our eyes. As such, we are not only committed to making up for this disruption, but we want to welcome back players, new and old, with some extra goodies to celebrate."

In other words, it's a pretty massive "make-good" package, with even those outside the U.S. being compensated as Second Dinner recognizes that they too were impacted by the outage. It's not too dissimilar to the package Sony provided PlayStation 3 owners following the PSN outage of 2011. That said, Second Dinner is aware of how good the U.S. gift is and has noted that VPN spoofing will not work. Either way, it's a welcome gesture that almost certainly goes above and beyond.
