The wait for more Mass Effect has been long, and there's still no indication of when the wait might end. Fans of the series need other ways to fill the Mass Effect hole in their lives while they wait for BioWare to do its thing, and Youtooz is about to provide after teasing the imminent arrival of its first-ever Mass Effect figures.

Youtooz did its usual thing when it has significant new characters coming to its growing collection and revealed Mass Effect characters are coming to the site via the most thinly-veiled tease possible. It's more of a reveal than a tease as it is clear that Tali and Garrus will be the squad members kicking off Youtooz's Mass Effect crew. We just can't see the finer details of the figures since the reveal image has them somewhat shrouded in darkness.

Youtooz started life as a company that turns memes into collectibles, but has grown into so much more. Its website is now filled with figures based on characters from movies, TV shows, and more than anything else, video games. However, until now, Mass Effect has not hopped on the Youtooz bandwagon. With so many more beloved characters to choose from, it's unlikely Garrus and Tali will be the only ones from the series that are turned into Youtooz.

As for who might eventually join them, Liara, Jack, EDI, Mordin, and Wrex could all join Tali and Garrus, and we'd still only just be getting started. There's also the male and female models for Shepard which, honestly, I'm surprised aren't the ones kicking off this collection. I guess pretty much all Mass Effect fans have stronger feelings for certain party members than they do the character they play throughout the original trilogy, and most of those people love Garrus and Tali more than they love anyone else.

Garrus and Tali's figures don't have store pages yet, so we don't know when they'll be released or how much they're going to cost. Standard Youtooz figures cost $29.99 each, and with nothing suggesting that Tali and Garrus won't be standard, they will likely cost the same. It could be a while before you get your hands on them, though. While the figures will likely get a proper reveal very soon, and pre-orders will open shortly after, the recently revealed Five Nights At Freddy's Youtooz figures won't ship until at least October.
