Upon picking up the Soulbone Mantle, you will instantly be granted 20 points of shield. For every three enemies you defeat, you will be granted another point of shield. This makes the Soulbone Mantle more useful the earlier in your run you can pick it up.
The Soulbone Mantle can only be found in special Scarlet Relic rooms and will cost a whopping 99 health to equip.
