Wizards of the Coast has revealed an upcoming Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair superdrop. Secret Lair: The Ultimate Pencil Superdrop will be available online next month, going live on May 12.
The blog post announcing the superdrop shows cards across five different collections, showcasing the work of a range of artists. One of these artists is Jay Howell, who has illustrated five cards for the superdrop, all in his unique style.
Here Are The Upcoming MTG Cards From Bob's Burgers Artist Jay Howell
They will be available to buy from May 12
Close"Los Angeles-based illustrator Jay Howell is the best," reads the blog post. "He's built a fandom across animation, illustration, and—fortunately for us—within the Secret Lair team. We were absolutely thrilled to get to work with him on these cards.
"There's the start of a nice Marchesa Commander deck in here, but it's up to you to decide how you want to play these. More importantly, we're happy to have you in the game, Jay."

Magic: The Gathering is headed to the big screen, and it needs a cast to match.
PostsLike the other drops, Jay Howell's collection will set you back $29.99 for non-foil, or $39.99 for rainbow foil. It will be available alongside everything else in the superdrop on May 12 - specifically at 9am PT, if you want to wait until the very minute it goes live to secure your order.
The superdrop doesn't have an end date, but the post does say that it will be cleared from the site after some time has passed - or, presumably, if it sells out quickly enough. Each order will also apparently come with a pencil, because why not? That explains the name of the superdrop, anyway.
