Magic: The Gathering has crossed over with all sorts of things lately. Last year we had the smash hit success that is Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth and four amazing decks based on Doctor Who, while this year we've enjoyed the Fallout release. Universes Beyond has proven itself as a way to bring creative cards and new players to the game, and that's hopefully going to continue with Universes Beyond: Assassin's Creed.
Assassin's Creed is a mini-set that isn't designed for limited play. Instead, this set of 100 cards released in a new style of seven-card Beyond booster packs is designed for Modern, Legacy, Vintage, and Commander. As both a massive Assassin's Creed and Magic: The Gathering fan, I'm very excited for what this set has to offer - both in its deep cuts for the series and cards for my next deck.
