Essentially, Toasts are a type of currency, but instead of being used to buy items, they’re a fun way to show respect and send a little bit of love to your opponents at the end of a match. By giving someone a Toast, you’re acknowledging their efforts during the fight, regardless of who won. If you’re wondering how to toast other players and get more Toasts in MultiVersus, read on.

How To Toast Other Players

After you've finished a full best-of-three match against other players, you'll be taken to the results screen, where you can Toast them. There might be a short delay, as you’ll have to wait until everyone declines a rematch. Once the results have loaded, you’ll see a “Give Toast” option above each player’s fighter. Simply hover and click on it to toast your opponent.

What Does Toasting Do?

If someone toasts you first, a notification pops up in the top right corner letting you toast back – which is a great way to say thanks. Toasting your opponent isn't just a nice gesture, it rewards them too. Each player who receives a Toast will earn five Fighter Currency, which can be used to unlock new characters.

How To Get More Toasts

Like other currencies, Toasts are a limited resource in MultiVersus and you can quickly run out if you’re not using them carefully. Interestingly, you can get a handful of Toasts for simply logging into MultiVersus every day.

While you could purchase more Toasts for 350 Gold coins in the beta version of MultiVersus, that option is no longer possible in the full launch of the game. Instead, you’ll now have to pay real money to get more Toasts. A bundle of 30 Toasts costs 50 Gleamium currency, which works out to around two cents per toast.

You can also win free Gleamium through MultiVersus’ seasonal Battle Pass and maxing out your character’s Fighter Mastery.
