Since Multiversus first burst onto the fighting game scene, it seemingly hasn’t had a misstep. The game combines fast-paced action with fantastic team-based mechanics to make one of the most exciting and unique fighting games of the last few years. With that said, what is a fighting game without some excellent characters?

Multiverse has even managed to throw in some fantastically designed characters. From their overall look to the way their move animations look in action, almost none of the characters found within Multiversus fail to disappoint in the looks department.
10 Black Adam
It’s pretty hard to deny just how fantastic Black Adam looks in Multiversus. Sure, he doesn’t look like Dwayne Johnson, but that’s a problem most people have, so we can’t hold it against the design. Few characters look as dominant as him while taking player stocks.
Both his original costume and his comic classic look keep him looking like an imposing figure. The collar of his cape might be a little goofy at first, but that changes once a skilled player gets his hands on you, or once you see his great intro animation.
9 Harley Quinn
Pretty much everyone loves Harley Quinn, but the same isn’t always said for her various designs. Her initial design and Task Force X looks are both great, but her Mad Love throwback to her original appearances is what really caught fans’ eyes.
It’s a classic design for a reason — just about everyone on the planet loves it whether they watched the animated series or not. As Harley dashes around the stage while in combat, it’s hard to see how the Multiversus team could have done a better job with her in any aspect.
8 Wonder Woman
While Wonder Woman’s default look might come across as a bit plain to some, most seem to agree that it’s a fantastic take on one of the best-designed comic book characters of all time. Wonder Woman looks like a force to be reckoned with, something that is true when used by the right player, even if she can be played by beginners.

The team could have made her a bright and vibrant character, but they went for a more serious and subdued color scheme, something that makes the design all the better. Don’t take too close of a look though, or you’ll end up on the wrong side of her lasso.
7 Rick Sanchez
People lost their minds when Rick and Morty were announced for the game, and the characters lived up to the hype. Rick’s design fits perfectly into the game, and his hilarious move animations are some of the most inventive of all the fighters.
The way Mr. Meseeks is incorporated into Rick’s moves was a stroke of genius, and only adds to the overall design of the character. Having access to his classic portal gun only completes the entire package, and makes Rick a serious force against most foes.
6 Arya Stark
When people first heard Arya Stark was going to be included in the game as an assassin, there were more than a few questions that came to mind. Just how a character like that would translate into a child-friendly animation style was anyone’s guess, but the Multiversus team didn’t let the people down.
Arya Stark probably couldn’t have been designed better. Rather than ending up as some kind of standard sword fighter, her move set is unique and allows for a lot of different styles of play. Just like in Game of Thrones, Arya constantly looks poised to take out her target at any moment.
5 LeBron
While the blueprint for a great LeBron James character design was already set up in his new Space Jam film, that doesn’t mean it still would have turned out great. Luckily, even people who aren’t fans of LeBron have to admit he looks good in Multiversus.
All of his basketball-themed moves fit in perfectly, and allow for a challenging character to master, especially in duos. Few things are more satisfying than seeing LeBron in his court gear, as Robin, or even as a cowboy, as he dunks on fools.
4 Marvin The Martian
Who doesn’t love an earth-shattering kaboom? The creators of Multiversus were probably asking that exact thing when they added Marvin the Martian of all characters to the game. It’s hard to get the design of the classic Martian wrong, so it makes sense that he looks great in the game.
The design of the character manages to come off as both endearing and sinister at a glance, and that’s probably due to the massive eyes he’s got beneath his iconic helmet. He’s not the easiest character to master, but he is a lot of fun to look at while you learn.
3 Superman
Superman might be a bit played out for some people, but there’s a reason his basic design rarely ever changes much. His iconic look translates almost too perfectly into Multiversus, making for one of the best animated depictions of the classic hero, even if he is an absolute tank.

Sure, his golden variant is a bit dull, but who needs variants when you have the classic? Whether on the ground or flying through the air, Superman looks like he’s ready to take stocks regardless of where he is on the various stages.
2 Gizmo
Most people expected Gizmo to be added to the game at some point, and it’s safe to say that fans weren’t disappointed. The absolutely adorable creature from the 80s translates far too well into the medium of video games.
The big floppy ears and enormous beady eyes will have everyone feeling a bit guilty after knocking out the cute little mogwai. Add in the Combat Gizmo costume and it’s game over. It’s one of the best designs in the game by far.
1 Bugs Bunny
Multiversus has been giving a lot of love to Bugs Bunny, and it’s not hard to see why. Whether he’s considered the best character by some or just a fun one to try out by others, pretty much everyone loves giving the chaotic and dynamic cartoon a try.
His initial design is much more reminiscent of his classic design than it is any kind of modern look, something that many people appreciate. All of his alternate costumes are nods to classic Bugs Bunny appearances as well, only adding to how great the character can look.
