Silent Hill f was originally unveiled two years ago during the Silent Hill Transmission featuring several projects set in the universe. Most of those games are now out, and KONAMI has finally unveiled Silent Hill f from NeoBards Entertainment with a cinematic trailer that had snippets of possible gameplay.

The requirements are a bit over the place, but we appreciate that the developers have shared the target resolution and frame rate. If you’re playing at native 1080p, you can expect 30 FPS at the Quality preset with an RTX 2080 paired with a Ryzen 5 5500. Similarly, the same specifications can also target 30 FPS at 4K with DLSS turned on.
Image via KONAMIOn the lower side, players with an aging GTX 1070 Ti can still play the game, however, at a 720p resolution with 30 FPS and “Performance” preset, which we’re assuming are the lowest settings. Apart from that, players need a total of 50 GB free space and 16 GB of RAM. As expected, an SSD is required no matter what settings you’re playing at, which is par for the course for any new major release.

If you’re interested in the complete transmission with insights from the developers, you can watch that below. It begins at the 10:00 mark in the video.
Compared to everything else revealed previously, Silent Hill f is certainly the standout title from the bunch. If uses a Japanese setting, the characters are incredibly unsettling and the atmosphere reminds me of older horror PS2 titles like Kuon, Fatal Frame and Siren.
