How to Get Mossberry Stew
Mossberry Stew is the easiest item to find as long as you’ve already completed the Moss Druid’s Mossberry quest already. Head back to the Moss Druid in Mosshome and talk to him to get the Mossberry Stew.
How to Get Vintage Nectar
You can purchase the Vintage Nectar for 480 Rosary Beads from the Bartender Creige in Halfway Home near the middle of Greymoore. He’ll give you access to his cellar in the basement, but you’ll have to fight a few waves of ant enemies to leave with the Vintage Nectar.

The Courier’s Rasher is one of the hardest items to collect on this list because it’s a delivery quest that requires you to take the item from Bellhart to Mergwin in the Choral Chambers without the use of fast travel and while also protecting the item.
Screenshot by Prima GamesYou can only receive the Courier’s Rasher once you complete the quests My Missing Courier and then the subsequent quest, My Missing Brother in Bellhart. You can then receive the Courier’s Rasher from Pill in Bellhart and need to walk from here to the Choral Chambers without taking too much damage. The item also decays over time, and falling from great heights can also damage it.
This quest is similar to the notoriously difficult White Flower quest from the original Hollow Knight.
How to Get Crustnut
You can find the Crustnut in a cave on the leftmost side of the Sands of Karak area. You can reach the Sands of Karak area by using the Grappling Hook on the pins outside the Pinstress’ home, found in the northwest part of the Blasted Steps region. This area is optional, so it’s easy to miss.

How to Get Pickled Muckmaggot
You get the Pickled Muckmaggot by defeating the optional boss Disgraced Chef Lugoli in Sinner’s Road. To reach this boss, you will need the double jump ability to make your way to the back of the main boss’s arena. Once you’re there, just defeat the boss and collect the Pickled Muckmaggot as your reward.

Once you have all 5 items, you can return to Merwin in the Choral Chambers and collect the Pale Oil for your third nail upgrade. Take it back to the Pinmaster in Bellhart for your Nail Upgrade.
