Lightning Charges don’t do damage directly, instead, they’re part of your equipment. With the help of these charges, your character will not only deal lightning damage, but they would also gain one Attack Roll.
You can even stack the charges up to five if you want to go for bonus lightning damage, and they will reduce with every turn.
How to Get Lightning Charges in Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3)?
The process of obtaining these charges varies across different equipment. As of the latest patch, there are five such items present in the game that offer these charges.
