Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is finally coming to PC in January 2025 less than a year after its launch on PlayStation 5. The latest entry in the remake series from Square Enix is a technical feast, and we’re hoping the PC version continues the tradition of offering the best playable version in terms of visual fidelity and performance. Here are the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth PC system requirements and the pre-order bonus content.

This is a detailed breakdown of the target resolution and frame rate for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth with multiple presets in mind. The developers recommend 16 GB of VRAM if you’re targeting 4K resolution at the “High” preset, which makes it a fairly demanding experience if you’re aiming for native resolution. An SSD is recommended across the board regardless of the settings used.

Even if you’re looking to play the “low” preset at 1080p with just a 30 FPS target, you’ll need something like an RTX 2060. The specifications sheet doesn’t mention upscaling, which will hopefully help with achieving higher frame rates with minimal quality loss.
