How To Fix the Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater Ultrawide Issue

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is an Unreal Engine 5 remake of the classic PS2 game and part of KONAMI’s initiative to revive the classic franchise. It’s a demanding game on PC and consoles, and while it looks like a modern AAA title, the PC port isn’t perfect.
Recommended VideosFor one, the game is locked at 60 FPS and doesn’t have support for ultrawide monitors, but thankfully, Lyall from the PC modding community has already released a patch to address that for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.
Fix the Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater Ultrawide Issue
The patch from Lyall adds ultrawide support to Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
- Head over to the following link and download the latest release zip file. (0.0.2 as of writing)
- Extract the zip file (MGSDeltaFix_0.0.2.zip) into the following location where Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater is installed:
steamapps\common\MGSDelta\Binaries\Win64
That’s all you need to do, and the next time you launch Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater, the game will render properly at the ultrawide resolution. Here is a screenshot provided by Lyall showing the game running at a proper ultrawide aspect ratio with the UI correctly positioned as well.

Apart from the addition of ultrawide support, the patch also has the following features:
- FPS cap removal: Removes the default 60 FPS cap from the game.
- Skip intro videos and logos.
Since this patch is only version 0.0.2, you can expect improvements and possible new features as Lyall works on it. They also added several fixes and features to the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol 1. If you don’t like the changes in the mod, you can either delete the files that came with the zip file or set the value of each feature to false in the MGSDeltaFix.ini file.
