Obsidian Entertainment is back with a new entry in the Pillars of Eternity, this time with Avowed, a first-person action RPG that’s the perfect entry point for newcomers to the franchise. It’s also a highly customizable experience with support for multiple inputs on the PC version.

Players can remap the controls for the keyboard and mouse, but not controllers. This is a bit of a shame and we hope that Obsidian considers adding the ability to remap controller buttons as well.
Additionally, the game doesn’t have the correct prompts for PlayStation controllers either. This is another odd omission as most PlayStation Studios’ PC releases come with in-game button prompts for multiple controller types.
Overall, Avowed on PC could use some improvement when it comes to support for PlayStation controllers. Players shouldn’t have much problem on Steam thanks to Steam Input, but the Xbox App version might require additional steps like DS4Windows.
