Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 has brought a ton of new cosmetics for players to acquire, with the new Runners Battle Pass also bringing John Wick back to the game. This time around, Epic has also added John Wick’s Dog as an unlockable Sidekick. However, many players have been asking the same question: where is John Wick’s Dog in Fortnite? Luckily, we have the answer for you right here.

John Wick’s Dog Location on Fortnite Map

You can find John Wick’s Dog at the Sinister Strip POI on the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 map. The dog can be found locked in a cage surrounded by guards, whom you will need to take out to interact with John Wick’s Dog. While initially only two guards will spawn in, 4 more guards will spawn as soon as you eliminate the two. So, make sure you are properly equipped to take on all of these enemies.

How to Rescue or Pet John Wick’s Dog in Fortnite

You can rescue and pet John Wick’s Dog by defeating his captors and freeing him from his cage in Sinister Strip. This allows you to unlock him as a Fortnite Sidekick in the new Battle Pass. The process is extremely straightforward, and here are the steps you can follow:

  • Land at the southern building in Sinister Strip.
  • Collect some weapons and arm yourself properly.
  • Take down the guards around John Wick’s Dog’s cage.
  • Interact with the cage (X/Square on controller and E on PC) to unlock it and rescue John Wick’s Dog.
  • Pet John Wick’s Dog by pressing the Interact button.
  • Defeat security guards.
  • Unlock Dog’s cage.
  • Pet the dog.

Once you have followed all of these steps, you will unlock John Wick’s Dog as a Sidekick for all future matches. However, remember that you need to own the Chapter 7 Season 3 Battle Pass if you want the John Wick’s Dog Sidekick. Additionally, if another player has already defeated the guards and unlocked the cage, don’t fret! You can still unlock John Wick’s Dog by simply petting him after he has been set free.
