However, to completely modify characters in Dragon’s Dogma, players need a specific item called Art of Metamorphosis. While it is available in the Deluxe edition of Dragon’s Dogma 2, players with the standard edition will have to grind for it. Getting the Art of Metamorphosis item is pretty simple. All you need to do is head to Vernworth Pawn Guild and talk to the Rift merchant. The Art of Metamorphosis costs only 500 Rift Crystals, so it’s quite cheap. You can get Rift Crystals by finishing quests in the game. Some enemies also drop Rift Crystals, but they are hard to get early in the game.

Where to Go After Getting Art of Metamorphosis

After you have purchased the Art of Metamorphosis, you need to head to a salon present in the city. Talk to the stylist in the Salon and select the Modify Appearance option. Now the character creator will open and you will be able to change the character’s appearance as you want.

How to Change Character Hairstyle in Dragon’s Dogma 2

If you want to simply change the character’s hairstyle, add markings, and adjust makeup for your character, then you do not need the Art of Metamorphosis. All you need to do is head to the Salon and talk to the stylist. Changing the Hairstyle, adding markings, or adjusting makeup cost 10k gold each.
