There are plenty of missing audio logs in Fortnite, but some of them carry more weight than others. As part of the Weekly Quests (Week 7) in Chapter 7 Season 3, you’ll need to help Hope recover something she misplaced. You’ll be better off if you find it fast, as there’s XP on the line and some lore you may have missed out on.

Where To Find The Missing Audio Log in Fortnite?

The missing audio log in Fortnite can be found south of the Frosted Flats POI at an unnamed landmark on the Chapter 7 Season 3 map. You’ll find a Fortnite NPC called The Singularity walking about in this area. You can either talk to her or head straight to the objective. Here are the steps needed to get to the objective:

  • Before starting a match, click on the Weekly Quest and track it. This highlights the general location of the missing audio log on the map, enabling you to find it easily.
  • Jump off the Battle Bus and head towards the location, keeping in mind that it is south of the Frosted Flats POI.
  • Once on the ground, look for a green shipping container.
  • The missing audio log will be located inside it.
  • Interact with the missing audio log to complete this Weekly Quest in Fortnite and earn 12,000 XP.

If you’re wondering what the missing audio log in Fortnite contains, well, it’s rather scary. We all know that Geno was impersonating the Visitor and shot Agent Jones. What we didn’t know was that Hope and Doctor Slone didn’t have the slightest clue about this.

In the missing audio log, they refer to the Visitor in Fortnite as “our friend.” However, Doctor Slone acknowledges that he’s studying them, and Hope also agrees. Lastly, they ask if they can trust him. To which Slone says, “The number one thing Jones should have taught you: Don’t trust anyone.”

When Agent Jones fully recovers and wakes up, there’s going to be a lot of explaining to do. Because, as it stands, they probably blame the Dark Voyager for the attack. We’ll likely get more insight into the storyline when update v41.30 goes live on July 30, 2026.
