Platinum Games has released a little tease for the NieR New Project, their upcoming PS4-exclusive follow-up to NieR.

The art, depicting a young boy staring out across a broken city, was posted on Platinum Games' Twitter account.

Few details are known about NieR New Project yet. The game was announced at E3 this year, and was a huge surprise, as the first NieR is generally believed to have underperformed at retail.

Platinum Games has been very busy lately: it's also working on Star Fox Zero for the Wii U, Scalebound for the Xbox One, and Transformers: Devastation for multiple systems.
