GTA Online has a new fastest supercar and it's released today

GTA Online has a brand new car released today and it's the fastest one in the game so far.

According to GTA race obsessive Broughy1322, the X80 Proto is now faster than the T20, but the speed isn't a game breaker as the difference between performance isn't huge.

While it has great straight line speed and acceleration, you'll need to adjust to the braking and traction for the X80 Proto due to the top speeds you're able to hit.

But what price for the quickest car in the game? $2.7 million. Wowsers.

The Grotti X80 Proto is released today as an update to the Further Adventures in Finance and Felony DLC from a couple of weeks ago. It was leaked as the update arrived, but Rockstar has a habit of holding back a few vehicles and updating the game every couple of weeks to keep it fresh.

As part of today's update you'll also notice double money and RP rewards for playing the Power Play Adversary mode.
