Here are the headlines this morning.
- Call of Duty: Elite was leaked by the Wall Street Journal and had an embargo moved yesterday. It's a stat-tracking service which'll have both free and premium elements. Elite will go into public beta in summer and launches later this year.
- Apple is to hold its WWDC keynote at exactly the same time as Microsoft's E3 press conference. This is not a coincidence, and you can expect major game announcements from the company this year.
- Freestyle Games has started work on a new project within Activision, but confirmed yesterday that it's shed 35 jobs.
- Rockstar Pass has launched in XBLM.
- EA's stock's jumped on confirmation that investor Ralph Whitworth is to join the firm's board.
- Two ex-Black Rock staffers, Nick Baynes and Ian Monaghan, have formed Roundcube Entertainment.
- Sega's announced London 2012 – The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games.
- The first WWE 12 teaser trailer has claimed the game will be “bigger, badder, better” than before.
- Pixeljunk series developer Q-Games has said it'll show three titles at E3 this year. We don't know what they are.
- Metro: Last Light, the Metro 2033 sequel, was revealed at a London event last month. There's a full report here.
- Nintendo's dropped DS Lite to $99.99 in the US.
