Hey, it’s 2016 and your identity in the digital world is XxFatClouddzxX. Don’t you think it’s time to shape up and go by something respectable? Maybe like DoinkTheClown or TommyPickles? At least then your mother could look you in the eye.

Xbox is giving its committed players the chance to reform their probably-terrible Gamertags. On Wednesday at 11am PST, Xbox is releasing one million inactive Gamertags to people who are active Xbox Live Gold subscribers and who have at least one cumulative year of membership status. Xbox also offers a free Gamertag change; more information on that can be found here.

As for the suddenly-released Gamertags, they’re coming from accounts that have been inactive for a long time. Xbox has compiled a list of accounts that were never migrated from the original Xbox to the Xbox 360. That means they’ve been sitting unused for more than 10 years. What’s neat about that is it’s those early adopters who likely have some of the most coveted Gamertags because they claimed them first.

Let us know come Wednesday if you’re the new LukeSkywalker or CaptainKirk. Steven’s gunning for Kanye, and nothing would make me happier than if one of you got to it before him.
