Xbox 360 rolls out TV, web video features in 20 countries

Today, Microsoft announced that nearly 40 world-leading TV providers, including AT&T, BBC, Comcast, HBO, Rogers, Telefónica, Televisa and Verizon, will roll out entertainment services to Xbox LIVE this holiday, in more than 20 countries. Web video is also coming, from the biggest names, like Dailymotion, MSN with MSNBC.com,and YouTube. Microsoft will be working in Kinect functionality for all of these offerings, through a unified dashboard. Bing search functionality will also be added.
In all, nearly 40 world-leading TV and entertainment providers, including Bravo, Comcast, HBO GO, Verizon FiOS and Syfy in the U.S.; BBC in the U.K., Telefónica in Spain; Rogers On Demand in Canada; Televisa in Mexico; ZDF in Germany; and MediaSet in Italy, will begin rolling out entertainment services to the console this holiday. TV properties like Bravo, Comcast’s Xfinity On Demand service, Crackle, EPIX, Syfy, TMZ, UFC, Verizon FiOS and HBO GO and more will be available to here in the United States.
Also web video! Expect to see AT&T, Netflix and Hulu+ in the U.S., TELUS in Canada, BSkyB in the U.K., Canal+ in France, Vodafone Portugal, VimpelCom in Russia, and FOXTEL in Australia.
