Sony and Montreal-based developer Minority have rolled out another trailer for their upcoming PlayStation Network exclusive Papo & Yo just in time for E3. The video centers around platforming and puzzles whilst showcasing the game’s rich environments, modeled after the favelas of creator Vander Caballero’s native South America.

The story of Papo and Yo follows the adventures of protagonist Quico and his duplicitous companion, a monster who seems to have a penchant for eating frogs that send him into violent fits of rage. A metaphor for Caballero’s relationship with his alcoholic and abusive father, Minority hopes that the deeper themes present in Papo & Yo will resonate with players when the game becomes available for Vita and PS3 later this year.
