Since the mobile game Whiteout Survival offers various tutorials, the starting furnace upgrades are relatively straightforward. However, you must build the corresponding structures first to reach the level prerequisites. For instance, the Coal Mine must be constructed first to access the correct materials for the improvement.

Furnace upgrades increase the likelihood of satisfied inhabitants and suitable temperatures. As long as the city’s temperatures don’t align with the External environment, it should be a comfortable haven for villagers. 

In dire situations, the furnace can be set to Max Power in the game’s Action Panel. While this requires energy, it lessens the chances of residents turning into ice popsicles. 

You should ensure any other structures are upgraded, including the Sawmill, Coal Mine, and Iron Mine. These improvements provide more resources in a fast manner. Players can also use Gems to speed up the process. Gems can be obtained by completing missions, the Shop, and in-game mail rewards. They are particularly useful when the furnaces require longer timeframes to build.
