There was talk of an incoming Yoshi-themed 3DS XL but we had to resort to using our imaginations. These official images from Nintendo are much better. The limited-edition system will arrive on the same day as Yoshi’s New Island, March 14, and sports a white backing with eggs.

Truth be told, I think I dig the packaging itself more than the design of the actual 3DS; I would’ve preferred for that vibrant shade of green to be used throughout. Interestingly, there’s no mention of Yoshi’s New Island being included as a pack-in. Huh. At least we now know what it looks like!
