Nostalgia is a powerful drug, especially when your getting it from the long-dead brain of your eight-year-old former self. I have heard many “retro” gamers lament the current state of the industry and claim things were better twenty years ago. I believe they are wrong, and argue why. 

This industry was far worse than you like to remember, and twenty years from now, perhaps our children will say the same of this era. Who knows, eh? Let’s just watch the video while we wait to find out!
