Tekken 7: Fated Retribution announced, the first new character is Street Fighter's Akuma

Recommended VideosTekken 7: Fated Retribution has just been announced at The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2015’s grand finals.
Fated Retribution will be released first in arcades, and will include new characters, outfits, items and stages. That all sounds pretty cool but still fairly standard for an updated version of a fighting game. But then you find out who the first new character is, and things get a bit interesting.
Up top you can see the trailer shown at the tournament, and it confirms that Street Fighter’s very own Akuma will be entering the fray. Considering he isn’t in Street Fighter V, his presence in Tekken is exciting. Maybe Tekken X Street Fighter isn’t that far off now?
We currently don’t know the launch date for Fated Retribution. There’s also no confirmation about whether it will ever find its way to consoles, but I’d be very surprised if it didn’t. I suppose we’ll be hearing a lot more about it very soon!
