Sony Japan's Vita stream event to bring new information

Stream starts early this morning
Recommended VideosOut of nowhere Sony Japan has announced an online streaming event that centers around the PlayStation Vita, which means I won’t be going to bed as early as I thought tonight.
Scheduled for 5 p.m. Tokyo time, this stream is expected to bring some kind of Vita announcement — the page says to expect “new information.” If nothing else, and judging by the age warnings on the site, we’ll at least see some software announcements. We’ll be watching the stream to update you on any announcements. Watch along if you’d like (Japanese language) — the stream starts at 3 a.m. Eastern.
According to the Japanese PlayStation Twitter feed the event will be hosted by Sony Japan boss Hiroshi Kawano.
It’s interesting that this Vita event is happening just days before the expected next PlayStation announcement, set for February 20. Maybe they’re getting Vita out of the way first to make way for whatever they’ve got coming next.
Any predictions?
