He started in the industry at age 12

Last Sunday’s Sup Holmes (now on iTunes) with former Virgin game tester, indie game developer, Atlus translator, and Konami producer Tomm Hulett was simply overflowing with autobiographical thrills. We barely got to talk about Tomm as a human being. His huge backlog of historical data constantly got in the way.

We did get to hear about what motivated Tomm to get into the business, why he stuck to it even after his indie studio folded, the time he was locked in an office by Dave Perry (Earthworm Jim) at age 12, why he left Konami to become a director at WayForward, his level of involvement (or in this case, lack of involvement) with the much maligned Silent Hill HD Collection, his feelings on Silent Hill sales/fans/experiences and a lot more. We also got a tiny hint as to what his next project might be, but we sadly wont get the full scoop on that until later this year. I can’t wait to see what this man does next.

Thanks again to Tomm for being on the show, and tune in this Sunday at 1pm PST/4pm EST when we welcome Mike Lohaus and Vieko Franetovic of  LeGrudge and Rugged (Krunch) to the program. It’s going to be ball busting.
