Second chance: Steam indie bundles are back on sale
If you missed out on the various independent game bundles during the Steam summer sale and regret doing so, you’ll have another opportunity to get them at a greatly reduced price this week. The offer is good from now until Thursday at 4:00pm Pacific, as is a 75-percent-off discount on Transformers: War for Cybertron.
Between these eleven bundles, a person could truly flesh out a solid library of PC (and even Mac!) games. The groupings are diverse enough that I hesitate to make any general recommendations, but you can’t go wrong with Bundle 1 or Bundle IX. Really, it depends on your taste in games.
To think, I managed to make it through the summer sale having spent less than a dollar. How was this miraculous feat accomplished? For one, I didn’t actively keep up with the discounts on a day-to-day basis, and getting hit hard in prior years meant I owned much of what I wanted going into this sale. So, yeah, it was a total fluke. Fate won’t be so kind to be next sale, I reckon.
