Rocksteady: 80% of Arkham City takes place on the streets

Speaking to PSM3, Rocksteady Studios’ marketing game manager Dax Ginn revealed that the majority of Batman: Arkham City will take place outside.
“Interiors are locked to specific missions, but 80% of the game takes place on the streets,” as he puts it. “This means you can begin the game and just start exploring.”
“Our objective was not to make a bigger game world just for the sake of it. We want to fill it with content, and there’s no better world than Batman’s universe to take inspiration from.”
I felt that Arkham Asylum was largely successful at being linear, but not necessarily feeling linear.
