So, both times I’ve saved up Microsoft Points solely using the Xbox Live Rewards program, I’ve bought a Michel Ancel game. Last fall, I picked up Beyond Good & Evil HD and today I bought Rayman 3 HD. I never planned for that to happen, it just worked out that way. I thought it was kind of funny. Anyway, Rayman 3 HD is out now on XBLA and PSN! As I just said, I played a good amount of Rayman 3 HD this morning, and I can confirm it is most definitely worth the ten bucks.

The visuals have of course been boosted up to modern standards (at a smooth 60 FPS), there’s now achievements, leaderboards, nine new minigames, and improved audio quality. There’s also some Rayman: Origins concept art in the extras menu, which was a nice little surprise to find. It’s looking absolutely stunning and feels as fun to play as it ever was, but if you’re still not convinced, I’m sure the launch trailer or gallery below will do the trick.
