At the fairly unremarkable PS Vita Videogame Heaven event, SEGA announced that Phantasy Star Online 2 would no longer be just a PC game. A PS Vita port is in the works.
The Vita and PC versions will share servers, so you’ll be able to play your character on either platform while maintaining all progress. I say “you” but there’s no indication this game will be leaving Japan yet. There’s just a brief announcement clip, which you can view above.
The PC version of the game is slated for a Japanese release sometime in 2012.
