Frozenbyte and Atlus have made it official: Trine 2 will be hitting the big three digital distribution outlets next spring. And no, that’s not a slam against WiiWare — it’s just that usually Nintendo’s service is the odd man out when we’re talking multiplatform downloadable titles.

Moving on! As clearly shown in this teaser, Trine 2 looks like more of the same, which isn’t a bad thing. I have faith that Frozenbyte won’t run into the same technical issues again with the sequel, because that would be a real shame.

They are saying on- and offline co-op will be featured, though.
