Paul W.S. Anderson mentions a Monster Hunter movie

Gross! It’s not clear if he was teasing something he’s been considering, or if something real is actually in the works, but Resident Evil Retribution producer Paul W.S. Anderson brought up a Monster Hunter film during an interview with Japanese site Cinema Today.
When asked what property he would like turned into a film next, Anderson responded, “Recently, I’ve been loving Monster Hunter! A film conversion is currently in planning.”
Again, as Andriasang says, it’s not clear if he’s planning/working on a conversion, or if he’s just toying with the idea and the interviewer (and us).
One one hand, it’s a huge franchise that would do well just on the name. On the other, I think it would make for terrible movie material.
