Legend of Zelda director wants a woman to play theoretical live-action Link

‘It would be very fun and awesome’
Recommended VideosIt looks like my live-action Legend of Zelda dream casting is coming to fruition, even if the television series itself isn’t.
While many people argued with me in the comments in this article that Nintendo should subvert audience expectations and have the series lead played by a man, Legend of Zelda co-director Takashi “Ten Ten” Tezuka told MTV, “”It would be very fun and awesome if Link was played by a female actress, a boyish female actress.” Tezuka also direct A Link to the Past, so maybe there’s something more to its leads’ standout pink hair.
Prior, Shigeru Miyamoto, said that, “With Japanese TV drama and film they always use the same actors, so I actually think we should have someone completely new.” Not far from Nintendo’s current internal operating strategy of bolstering its farm system and grooming younger talent for eventual takeover.
