Super Monkey Ball, probably the purest platformer ever, might roll back into our lives. At long last.

Gematsu reports that Sega recently filed a trademark in Japan for Tabegoro! Super Monkey Ball. Tabegoro translates to “ripe,” “in season,” “good to eat,” or something along those lines. Sega has not yet announced this game.

The most recent Super Monkey Ball released in 2014 on iOS and Android devices. This could be another mobile game. Or, god willing, it could be something that’s designed for Switch. Leave your preference in the comments, then Sega will tabulate the votes and release the game wherever there’s the most interest. Probably.
