iPhone 4S sets a new record: 4 million sold in 3 days

A new record has been set with Apple’s newest device, the iPhone 4S. Four million phones were sold in only 3 days, breaking every sales record ever. A million units were solid in 24 hours, and after the busy launch weekend, they can claim 3 million more.
This sales record is even more impressive when you consider that the device still has yet to go on sale in 22 other countries. I bet Apple will sell a lot more on the release date for these other countries, October 22. By the end of 2011 the iPhone 4S will be available in 70 countries.
I saw the crazy lines at New York’s Fifth Avenue store this weekend. I snapped the above image of the Steve Jobs memorial made of apples there. The store itself was packed, shoulder to shoulder. Absolutely nuts.
I feel like everyone wants the phone so they can ask Siri silly sh*t.
