To progress further in the A Rift in the Gerudo Desert quest, you must decipher the clues regarding two tributes. Solve this riddle by placing the Elephant Statue and Hawk Statue Echoes down. We’ll show you how to find these statues and complete the Zelda Echoes of Wisdom Gerudo Sanctum Tribute riddle.
First, let’s go into the room on the right by pulling the handle with the Bind ability. Use the Wind Cannon to clear out the sand at the top-right corner. I find it best to pick up the cannon to make it more mobile. Here, we see the clue: “It stands quietly in the sanctum. It is blue in color with large tusks and a long nose.”

Once it’s used up, the Mothula Echo is helpful in this situation. But make sure to avoid Poe’s flames to keep your health intact.
Open the chest and pick up a dungeon map, providing a better layout. Go through the new entrance down below to enter the Stilled Gerudo Sanctum. Now that we’ve covered the two rooms, it’s time to find the tributes.

Keep moving forward to reach the Elephant Statue. Like the Mysterious Rifts quest, you must defeat another evil Link. Whatever you do, don’t use the Swordfighter form; he’ll be able to counter this. Since he’s fast, you can use Echoes with speed to knock him down. The Peahat proves the most viable, especially when the second phase spawns more Links.
Grab the new weapon once he’s down and climb up the ladder. Use the Bow of Might to clear any obstacles, and start heading to the next room. Eventually, you’ll enter an area filled with beams of flames. Place an object like a Pot or Boulder to block out the fire.

You can use it on that locked door you previously encountered. Warp back to the Stilled Gerudo Sanctum to return to it, providing some bonus rewards.
