How to fix gear in Gray Zone Warfare
The only way to repair gear in Gray Zone Warfare is by replacing it with a new one from the Vendor or mission rewards. I’ve tried to locate a repair kit, just like the rest of the community, but I’ve come up with nothing. If you took a hit from an enemy, it’s best to check the item’s durability to see how much longer it will last. Right-click on the equipment and select ‘Inspect’ to display the percentage of its durability.

That means a chest plate at 50 percent will guard you just as much as one at 100. But if you take too many hits, it may break, making you an easier target. The Night Ops‘ new Night Vision Goggles feature can also wear and tear over time. It’ll display dirt, cracks, or blemishes in your field of view, indicating the need for another NVG. If this happens, speak to Gunny to purchase a PVS-7 for $5,218.
The Vendors, Gunny and Handshake, are essential for replacing broken gear. Gunny specializes in weapons, while Handshake focuses on gear. They’ll always have various items up for purchase, provided you have enough cash. Remember to check your mission rewards, too, since they often give you high-valued equipment.
Those without any replacement or lacking money can rely on the latest Donation Box and Backup package features. You can find more stuff in your faction’s Donation Box whenever other players feel generous. Alternatively, those with less than $1,000 will receive a message from Handshake to replenish some goods.
As more Gray Zone Warfare updates launch, there could eventually be a way to repair gear with an in-game item. For now, you’ll just have to stick with replacing your equipment and hope that you have enough cash to pull through.
