Warframe has so many resources that you need to hunt down and salvage daily that it can be difficult to keep track of them all. In most cases, resources are found scattered through specific levels, depending on the type. In the nuanced case of Pathos Clamps, they are not found, but instead, given to you as a reward for defeating an Orowyrm in the Duviri Paradox.
Screenshot by DestructoidThe Duviri Paradox is Warframe’s roguelike game mode that changes every time you participate in the content. However, at the end of every run, you will always face an Orowyrm making Pathos Clamps a stable resource to farm. When you defeat an Orowyrm a chest will spawn which contains a number of Pathos Clamps for you to collect. The amount you obtain from this chest depends solely on the difficulty of the Orowyrm encounter. In normal gameplay, you will receive 10 Pathos Clamps while striding on the Steel Path will earn you 15.
What are Pathos Clamps used for in Warframe?
Pathos Clamps function as both a reagent for crafting and a currency for buying items. The most valuable use for them is for installing Incarnon Genesis Adapters on compatible weapons. Each installation costs a specified amount of Pathos Clamps to install, depending on the weapon in question. If you’re not familiar with the Incarnon Genesis system, it is functionally a weapon-upgrading mechanic that prioritizes buffing up old, underpowered weapons to current game standards. Here’s a list of Incarnon-compatible weapons you can use these adapters on.
